Who looks after your information
James Morris is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. For questions or privacy requests, email hello@jamesnmorris.com.
When you enquire
The form sends your name, email address, task description and any selected example to James by email. These details are used to answer your enquiry, check whether the task fits the hour and, if you decide to go ahead, arrange payment and booking by email. There is no automatic booking or mailing-list signup.
Processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a mentoring agreement. For enquiries on behalf of a business, the basis is the legitimate interest in responding to that business enquiry. James checks the task himself; no AI makes the decision.
How your enquiry reaches James
Vercel hosts the site and processes the form request. Resend sends the enquiry to James’s email inbox, where it is handled by his email provider. The site does not save enquiries to a separate database or send them to an AI service. Hosting and email providers may process technical request and delivery information, and may process data outside the UK under their data protection terms. Contact James for details of the providers and transfer safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long information is needed
Enquiry correspondence is kept for handling your request and any resulting mentoring arrangements. How long it is needed depends on whether the enquiry leads to a session, whether follow-up remains open, and any accounting or legal record requirements. Contact James if you would like your enquiry removed.
Your choices and rights
Providing an enquiry is optional. Your name, email and a short task description are needed to respond. You can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion or restricted use, and for a portable copy where applicable.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email hello@jamesnmorris.com to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and examples
The site uses no analytics or marketing cookies, tracking pixels or third-party embeds. Fonts and images are served with the site. The interactive examples use fictional data and run in your browser. Copy buttons use your clipboard only when you press them.
Keep sensitive information out
Only provide your own contact details and a general description of the task. Do not include confidential business information, sensitive personal information, passwords or other people’s details.
